About Us
Speech and Language Therapy London Ltd is an innovative independent Speech Language Therapy service specialising in the treatment and support of adults with a range of communication and swallowing difficulties.
We offer in-person and online comprehensive assessment and evidence-led treatment to clients in the UK and internationally, as well as supervision and training services for Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals.
Speech and Language Therapy London Ltd is led by Director and Consultant Speech and Language Therapist Dr Shereen Matar. She qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist with an MSc in Speech and Language Sciences from University College London in 2015 and obtained her PhD in Rehabilitation Medicine from King’s College London in 2022.
Dr Matar has extensive experience in providing person-centred treatment and supporting adults with a range of communication and swallowing difficulties resulting from neurological conditions including stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and dementia. She is dedicated to supporting her clients by improving their overall well-being and quality of life.
Dr Matar is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice, and the British Aphasiology Society.
